  • I think most bands lip-synced on these crummy shows; Am. Bandstand, Shindig, etc. Yeah, I would love to hear the DC5 true live sound. They were great!!

  • @jimmycron Hell Yea!! I got this song stuck in my head for the last 4 days!! Cool song!

  • thank goth the beatles overpowered these germs

  • @watchika2 Mike Nesmith and Peter Tork were the two of the 4 that was musically competent on the instruments they played. Although Mickey learned the drums later from years of playing/lessons, he was an actor going into the Monkees. Davy was a singer and live performer but only played the tamborine.

  • Spot the Jacket...

  • @5inthehole The Monkees didn't have a live band behind the curtain when in concert, it was just the 4 of them playing.

  • @mkbearman The Beatles were totally live on Ed Sullivan.

  • Video was alright, but this song rocks!!

  • ok robsurge , u gotta be under 40 . NOTHING 'cept maybe some ed sullivan was live back then ! Even midnight special ,bandstand ect ... . Technology , plus the craziness of the fans , wasnt there . You actually dont think the beatles came thru the telly live on E.S. do you ? you couldnt here them on the soundstage w/ all the screaming . And yes they really could play!!!
