@seafireliv true, but more places have defibrillators these days. Examples include indoor shopping centres, religious buildings that work with children (such as The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)), railway stations, even village halls.They have instructions but the only thing I can find about the public being allowed to use them is an article in the unreliable Daily Mail. It's a shame first aid training is so prohibitively expensive too, even at the Red Cross
