You are all high and this is not wheeling. In fact Ive made my company car do worse trails. This is no kind of capability challenge. They all have different gearing which varies their capabilities. Different transmissions and different engines. The rover is much more capable off-road...without question-but they come with electrical issues. The fords transmission=problems and the nissan ....ehhhhh what can one say its another soccer mom vehicle.

I've seen a 2008 Explorer parked next to a brand new Range Rover. I really didn't see much difference in build quality/style, and there isn't much difference between the two when it comes to being a capable SUV except the price.
