Very sad, but it means approximately nothing that it was a church!! You religious clowns NEED to get over yourselves. You're no more important or valuable than anyone else that has died.

Our city may be broken but we will recover, we will rise from the rubble, we will again cherish our poor broken cathedral, we will again become a wondefull city to live in, we will restore our pride, we are proud as a community, we are greatful to the suportt the world has given us. We are many, we are one.

I saw this on TV and there was background noise which made the whole thing more unreal. Can we get that on this clip? I get no sound at all. By the way, thanks for posting this....

It brings a tear to my eyes watching this.. I live in Brisbane, but Chch will always be my home & I will always be a Cantab.. It really warms my heart to see so many in support of my beloved Chch
words can't express what happened last week, in this time of tragedy, we've prayed and silenced the voices of new zealand at 12:51pm, the time of the earthquake, although we were silenced, our voices were heard. Mark this date in history, 22nd of February 2011. the date NZ changed forever!!!
