@Sherpaful We don't buy this! We are soldiers and so this rifle is one of the best. You as a privat person don't need a rifle that shoots after diving.

@TJYoung80234 Everything from the current S&W M&P-15 to the FnH M-16A4 and the Still-Armalite-built M933's will blow up after being in water.
It's just not plausible to use anything of the Armalite/Colt 'M' variant.
The Germans perfected their rifles to not allow water to seep into the barrels. The 416, GR(c, G-36 and many other variants (Including the MP-5) can function underwater/being brought up after submersion. They're great guns.

So I got this right... these clowns used a SINGLE Colt with an obvious defect, and then didn't repeat any of the tests with another one? I'm not saying HK's are bad guns (they're actually pretty solid)... but they too have their issues. I'd love to see this comparison done with a NUMBER of guns. Obviously if the Colt were to fail 5 times in a row, then I'd be more inclined to sway to HK for that single purpose. Though, I don't often find myself laying in kid sized swimming pools.
