@Mega11221133 The only thing more annoying than a Metallica fanboy is a Megadeth fanboy who think Megadeth has never changed their sound. Youth did not sound like Peace Sells and Cryptic Writings was alternative metal. Go listen to the entire Risk album and tell me it sounds like Rust In Peace. And for the record, I love both bands. I actually think Megadeth is better. Comparing the two bands was fun back in the 80's but now it's just fucking annoying

MetallicFan mate, the 'fan boys' who spew this crap are all of 15 yrs old probably, and wouldn't know 80's Megadeth and Metallica from a hair on their buttcracks;P I still have a copy of No Life Till' Leather. I wouldn't have thought. Those of us that lived through the 80's and K E A, R T L, Puppets, P S, S F SG SW and R I P know good 80's thrash and don't take notice of ignorant dropkicks They listen to Nu Metal and metal core and think they're hardcore metalheads.....we know better:P

I dunno that comparing the 2 bands was ever fun, just a source and cause of constant useless arguments. Yah I've always had a preference for Megadeth over Metallica, and haven't always appreciated the musical direction both bands have taken, and I certainly appreciate Endgame, it's Megadeth's best album clearly since Rust In Peace. But at the end of the day, listen to the music and forget the mindless, stupid junior high arguments yeah?

The media like to bring up the apparent Megadeth V Metallica feud to see if they can get Dave to say somethin controversial so they can get a story from it, they've been doin it for years. We all know how the media work, don't let the truth stand in the way of a good story. Hopefully Dave, Lars & have mended the fence and moved on genuinely. I lived through thrash's golden era, and btw those 3, they started an entire style of music, and some of us loved em all for it. It's the music that matters
