As Zenn say's the test will come when I move it around and it hopefully will continue to work. At the end of the day I know this will eventually give up the ghost and when it does I will still keep it, I couldn't bring myself to binning it. Thanks guy's for the kind comments.

Wow, That is a nifty trick! Very interesting way to fix it. Looks like it's back to normal, just hope it stays like that.
