Glenn Beck said that Tim Geitner reminded him of an Elf from the Lord of the Rings. However, I just noticed that the hobbit Merry looks a little like Glenn Beck and reminded me of Glenn preaching doom. But there was hope too, at the end of Two Towers we hear the hope that Glenn also speaks about but this time we hear it from Samwise Gamgee. As we live in tumultuous times, these are words of hope to step up and make a difference. It is up to us to keep going, to believe that there is good in this world and it's worth fighting for!

please do not ruin some of my favourite characters from LOTR by comparing them to Glenn Beck. If you want to compare Glenn Beck to something, compare him to Sauraman, or Sauron, of the Witch-King of Angmar and the Lord of the Nazgul, or compare him to Gollum, or to the Steward of Gondor - Denethor, son of Ecthelion, or to Gormogoth.
There are many characters that you can compare to Glenn Beck and yet you choose some of the most innocent and brave characters.
I don't think it fits.
