Performed on a
"garklein" (a kind of tiny recorder pitched one octave above the soprano),
silver coins, electric guitar and fretless bass played through an effects pedal.

All sounds recorded on a TASCAM DR-1 digital recorder.

  • Beautiful--and my first exposure to a garklein!

  • Thankyou. The garklein is a fun little instrument, but can be hard on the ears. The one I'm playing here is a plastic Aulos which I think I bought in Budapest many years ago. Until now it sat and collected dust most of the time.

  • Very Beautiful!

The garklein is a sopranissimo recorder.
