India's finance minister is due to annouce a new budget, and the country's wealthy businessmen are worried they may lose out. Many of the affluent are watching closely whether the government increases taxes on the rich in the budget due on Thursday. India's finance minister P. So this man wants the government to provide an infrastructure so he can grow his personal fortune but he doesn't want to pay the taxes necessary to build it because if they're levied he'll be "disincentivised" and the entire economy will come crashing down. Anyone who takes this neo-Liberal crap seriously is a fool.

Terrific, and thanks. I should've thought of it myself, but I'm dragging ass intellectually this week.

Just google it. Wikipedia has an excellent article explaining neo-Liberal economics which is basically a modernised laissez-faire system.

That doesn't mean that makes it unlivable. Canada has really low rates of poverty. Unlike India that has a staggering 50% or more... or Malaysia which keeps it classified or manipulated to appear lower than it really is
