Alicia is by far, my favorite dancer. and my biggest inspiration. I don't know how she does it but she is going places and I hope she knows that. I work even harder in the studio after seeing her performances.

this particular competition puts microphones on the actual stage floor so you can hear tappers, in particular. so that, plus the amazing energy these dancers put into their movement, magnifies the sounds from the floor.

@MsCheviousxoxo Please refer back to my original comment...I'm not talking about this dance in isolation. Repetition within a dance to show some sort of imagery is fine and can be done quite well. I'm talking about several dances. As I was watching several different videos posted by this user, I noticed that although the dances were different, the moves were largely the same. If contemporary is about feeling the music, then it appears to me that Billy is feeling the same thing in every song.

@TaPetiteSoeur please never say a word against billy larsons choreography. he is one of the most amazing contemporary choreographers alive. you pointed out that the same moves were used "over and over and over again." cant you see that the repetition is intentional? not every dance is made to showcase a singular dancer's talents. its about the overall imagery when looking at all the dancers as a whole.

As I watch several of her videos, I can't help but make this comment. Absolutely amazing dancer, but her performances have ONE flaw - her choreographer. In isolation, her dances are amazing, but when taken as a whole, it becomes obvious that her choreographer is repeating the same moves over and over and over again. This shows a lack of originality. I hate to say it, but she is being held back. She has SO much potential!!!
