i agree with her take on death. it's got to better than 'nothing'!! the only females rocking at that time were: the runaways, heart, and my favorite WENDY O. WILLIAMS of the plasmatics!!!!!

@kingscott58 I was born the same year as her and I feel the same, at least about the first part. The weird thing is that we look related. I stare amazed at her photos and film with startled fascination - as if I am looking at a female rendering of myself, right down to the cheekbones and blue eyes. It must be that we're both Slavic and English mixes.... I wouldn't run from her anymore than I'd run from myself. (I think she's got the most kissable lips I've ever seen!)

Brilliant!

@deaddoc Thanks for that. I'll have a look!

@bananasplitsable Lovich is a Serbian name. You an google her. She was born in Detroit. Her father was Serbian and her mother English. She is based in England for I don't know how long.

@bent4toons Might've been all the acid you took. She's great, though, and so out there. Riders on the Storm...

I've never met Lene in person but I can tell she's a sweet person inside and out and gutsy to boot. During that time period there were not only very few female artists but to try a totally new sound with a dramatic stage presence liek hers was ballsy!
My hat is off to her and my appreciation is endless for her music!

i look at that face and part of me wants to hold and kiss her; the rest of me wants to run like hell . unbeliveable; such stage presence!!
I'm sure it was because you were the most wise and good tasteful on that floor!
Isn't she great?

I played FLEX and STATELESS heavily in my dorm room back in 1980/81. I wonder why everybody on the floor thought I was so weird?
