Talk at Night with Brian Wilson Pt.1

This was the bands first "Live" television performance on broadcast television in 1992. The show was called "Talk At Night with Brian Wilson" which aired on WTLK TV 14 in Marietta, Ga in 1992 just outside of Atlanta, Ga. The transmitter was located in Rome, Ga. and WTLK has now been changed to ION TV.
You can also see more of the "The Hard Times Band" performances on youtube as they continued to be the shows host band. The original music video was shot at The Oakdale Auditorium, and as you would guess it was located in Oakdale, Ga. It is about 10 miles just outside of downtown Atlanta, Ga.

"Scott " was a full time employee of WVEU TV 69 as a Master Control Operator at the time in 1992, but this first live broadcast television debut would also be the end of his employment at WVEU. Scott's first love has always been his music, and he always let it be known. He had called in sick that night, and just by chance his boss was at home flipping the channels, and wouldn't you know it there was Scott preforming "Live" on "Talk at Night with Brian Wilson"

That didn't go over very well with his boss, Gary Kelly the Chief Engineer, and so it would come to be that night Scott would no longer be employed by WVEU. Though sometimes the things you think are bad at the time can also be a blessing, and that was because he would soon go on to work with the great country legend "George Jones" You can see his credit on the album "The Bradley Barn Session" which included such greats as Keith Richards, Vince Gill, Mark Knopfler, and so many more greats as well.
