Ralph Nader talks with Amy Goodman, Democracy Now, about the current mid term election and his general disappointment with the Democrat Party and the Obama Administration. Ralph is concerned over the Democrats total dismissal of the Tea Party movement, especially those Tea Party Groups made up of Libertarians who are in sync with Progressives on many issues such as funding endless wars and taxpayer bailouts of the wealthiest segment of the economy. Ralph calls on Progressive voters to take a proactive stand toward their elected officials or stop complaining about our collapsing culture!

it's not about marketing himself. it's about reaching as many people he can with the information he has to offer and having a place people can connect to to communicate & organize a movement. a lot of young people, in particular, have their attention focused on social networking. if you want to reach people, you have to go to where they are. it's very simple. it's a great opportunity and potentially an incredibly easy and inexpensive way to educate & organize people.

  • Who cares about all that ?? Why does he need to market himself ?? THIS NATION, AND OUR PLANET, IS BEING DECIMATED EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY !!! Why can't people just understand that and just listen to him ?? Are they so stupid that the only way you can get this notion through to them is via facebook ??

  • the point on which ralph nader is continually wrong is his idea that in the 21st century people could create a mass movement via small groups of people having discussions in their neighborhoods. in the 21st century people must largely do their organizing via online communications and networking. if nader can't get past this huge blind spot of his and begin making use of the potential of online communications and organizing he will be forever politically impotent.
