Free SF Giants Bobbleheads

Slideball takes his camera to the ballpark on a lazy Sunday afternoon and explores the Bobblehead phenomenon.

Part 1 : Happy Donut is a great place to pick up a rare Giants bobblehead from previous season. It might be expensive, but at least you can find the ones you want there.

Part 2: If you fill out a stack of 300 All Star Ballots, you can get a free bobblehead. Should take about 30 minutes, but I spent an hour doing them over lunch.

Part 3: The Giants have a display of bobbleheads on the Club level, right behind home plate, section 215.

About the same price as they are on craigslist. Maybe ten dollars more for some items but it depends on how big a crowd there is. Prices are negotiable and they do trades if you have extras to swap. Not a bad place to find rare ones. They had a Lon Simmons selling for $75 that sold pretty quickly.

@electric7846 Sorry, the all star ballot promo is over. The mystery bag is a $20 charity promotion for the Giants community fund, where they put various gift items in a brown paper bag and you randomly pick one. This weekend, the mystery bags featured Willie Mays and Pablo Sandovol bobbleheads. If you follow the Giants on Twitter, they will sometimes announce what's in the bags prior the game. Most of the time, the bags contain autographed baseballs. Good Luck!

Thanks, they give you a stack of 300 to fill out at the counter. You are not limited to how many you can get per game as long as you do fill them all out correctly. they do check for hanging chads as it causes the ballot scanner to jam. I know people who have gotten the whole 1987 set by filling out these ballots. They are doing this mostly on the weekends until supplies last or the deadline for the all star game has passed. I only did it twice. take a long long time... good luck!
