    It's a 38 gallon brackish tank (sg ~ 1.005). Substrate is aragonite, to keep the water appropriately buffered.

  • I have four of these f8 puffers and have never seen them "puff up" do you know if they do actually do this?

  • i researched on google.... all the websites say different things.... so annoying

  • @Cheddar254 You obviously have no clue what you are talking about considering what you said is COMPLETELY opposite of the facts. Do some research before you attempt to educate others.

  • figure 8s can be kept in brackish but they do better in freshwater. dwarf puffers are kept in freshwater/brackish when young then moved into fully marine when adult.
