Usain Bolt, the famous athlete from Jamaica won 300 m in 30.97 sec - meeting record! World record in holding by Michael Johnson is 30.85 sec. Usain showed his best - I don't know, when he was tired after the event like today.

  • This just proves how much of a beast Michael Johnson was.

  • @TribalManners I think it´s 9.07 when he goes thru the 200m line, but he´s in th 5th line, so he´s got to run some meters more to reach the 100m ;)

  • @supergranbob not really. theres a curb. and since he's in lane 5 and theres a curb, the 300 meter line for lane 5 is more to the front, as well as the 200 meter line.

  • he will eventually beat johnson

  • Maybe it's just me but if Bolt ran the first 300m of a 400m like that I can't see borlee or anyone catching him, he could easily run 43.xx

  • Wow, he looked real tired after that race!!! More tired than I have ever seen him (and trust me, I have seen 99.9% of all his races). I guess it's not easy running both the 100m and the 200m races in one.

  • For everyone wondering, it's a staggered start so the 9:07 isn't a full 100m

  • Awesome race on a wet track...When he would run 300m again he will have the WR

  • timer says 9:07 for first 100m. thats stupid.

  • @sayenshin AND at 2:08 another handshake fail!
