  • The best Photographer for two reasons:

He captures things that cause change

He cares more about the subjects than his photos.

  • Thank you James.

Your work is extremely necesary in these times of confusion.

    You save lives.

  • All what you said might be true, but it's not fair to all Serbian victims, to peoples which lost their homes, members of their family... Stop lying and telling only one side of story, someone has to tell other side as well, but that won't be some idiot that spent few days or weeks there... Keep doing what you are good at - taking photos - and try to learn more about place and people where you shooting at! FUCK WAR and AMERICAN "PEACEMAKERS"! Peace!

  • from 10:45 until 11:27 - Dear Mr. James, no doubt that you are good photographer and you have guts to go around world and capture terrible thing that only human specie is capable to do, BUT you can't talk about something that you don't know and spreading lies about Serbian people! Have you seen what Albanians did to Serbian people, what about Serbian refugees and victims form Kosovo, what about medieval christian heritage that Albanians burned??!! And why is war criminal Hashim Tachi still free?

  • He is neutral, he is honest, he is sensible, that's why he's a great photographer, he cares! he cares about everything he witness.

  • Incredible. Thank you!

  • @Namorbia thanks

  • @frafra91 The TED website always has subtitles. YouTube doesn't allow me to post a link, but go to the TED website and search for this video.

  • Thanks James. I feel quite similar. When I take photos in places of cathastrophy, conflict and (post-)war zones, the experience truly gets "UNDER MY SKIN". Like Japan now. With my photography, I desire, to touch peoples hearts.

We are NO ROBOTS. We have feelings. And it ok to be touched. Through our feelings we are united around and with the world. I wish for TSUNAMIS OF LOVE and compassion.
