Merci beaucoup!
If you know about the Tragedy of Cathares, you will understand how much I was heart touched by these pictures....

I've just visited the Lastours castles 3 weeks ago. We went by car from Marseille. I wish I had stayed there longer. The village beneath the castles is still being excavated. The story about the Cathars is very moving. Thank you for the beautiful production.

Thank you for this post and music which moved me very deeply. I just returned from a journey to Prats de Mollo and Carcassonne. I did not have an automobile so was not able to visit all of the historical sites of the Cathars. The places I could visit filled me with wonder and also great sadness that such an advanced and tolerant civilization was wantonly destroyed purely by the greed of their nothern neighbors. Thank you! Merci!

Thank u for ur post. In reality this catles ares not "Cathare". Indeed after the Second Crusade against the South, French king had destroyed Cathare castles and built new castles ( that you can see now ! ) .
