They are both as good as each other. Even they accept that. That's why they did the lap of honour together. Everts was a 10 time World Champ and RC was the GOAT (In America). RC was amazing at Supercross and AMA Outdoor but they never raced a whole season against each other so we can't conclude who was the best, they are both amazing racers though.

I can't even beleive this is even an argument, everts is way better than Carmichael, and also Bubba he is suppost to be "the fastest man on the planet" but he just so happened to have his ass wooped at matily basin at the desnations, and anyway everts is quite old cairolis the man now he is better than any of ur American riders look what happened in Italy last year at the desnations. Most Americans don't know about any europein riders they see America as "the world"

but when rc beat everts everts was past his peak he ws getting ready to retire look dude everts and carmichael never raced when they were both in there prime coz everts was a lot older i still love carmichael but i just dont like people trying to take everts's achivements

Oh and Everts was riding a 500cc four stroke while Ricky was on a 250 two stroke so he even had a bike advantage and still got beat so lets just drop the horsecrap about Everts. He was awesome but Carmichael was clearly better.

RCl raced Everts back in 2001 MDN when he was just a kid and not even in his late Honda, early Suzuki prime. Carmichael beat Everts in the semi-final as well as the main. Everts had this to say after the race, “I didn’t have any problems with my riding in the final . . . I got the holeshot and rode at my own pace . . . Ricky was faster than me.” There you have it from the Great Everts own mouth, so enough of this Everts is better or just as good crap. Oh and Everts was still well in his prime

@49karl49 are you a freaking idiot? RC beat Everts every time they raced. European announcers even said Carmichael was the better man. Besides European outdoor tracks are NOTHING compared to ours. They are so easy beginners can ride motos on them and everyone knows it. BTW who wins MDN every year huh? What country has dominated MDN? USA that's who, last year we had a weak team and still won. Enjoy racing Dungey, Villipoto, and Canard this year. You might make podium if your lucky.

All these arguments are pointless. Its like saying Lewis Hamilton is better than Sebastian Loeb in a car. Ive race both outdoors and indoor motorcross and have done at a high level for years. My best friend beats me everytime in doors and i mean every time. Im never even close. in fact last time we raced he lapped me. But outdoors its the total opposite. I wupp his ass every time.....so you tell me is he better than me or am i better than him..............
