Sonko in court, and the shocker from the bench

Controversial Makadara MP, Gideon Mbuvi, denied fraud charges. The MP, popularly known as Sonko, was accused of fraudulently obtaining 2.8 million shillings from a company, tile and carpet centre, in 2006. Sonko who was arrested yesterday, will now be remanded for three more days as police seek to bring even more charges against him.

@OneWholeKenya I would not call them stupid, but rather desperate. As Siasduni said, if the govt does not play its roll, other people step in. Naturally, if Sonko has shown that he is accessible to the people and capable of addressing their various social issues, they will support him. Who else has stepped in?

Poor leadership breeds corruption and tribalism, until we have real leaders, and are brave enough to support real leaders, we are in big trouble.
