Not a prodigy, but she will be great one day! Quite an undertaking for ANY kid under 10!
-
@mrbeng111 Mendelssohn is one of the easiest violin concertos out there :P
-
à 7 ans je rentrais au conservatoire, elle, elle joue mendelssohn.... je vais me jeter par la fenêtre

wow! it's good,I know it's difficulty!!!
-
tu bouge trop dommage

@theviolinmaster99 no she did not murder it she came close to ruining it. She needs to work on smoother bow technique. And she needs to make more subtle movements. Listen to Shlomo Mintz. He really murders it. Anyway, there is harder than this. Say, Bruch or Tchaikovsy. It's not the hardest out there. Stop simpering because this child is being brought up with Chinese methods and has to give up her life to practice 4 hours a day.

Child cruelty. I have played this, but I am 13 and take lessons with Robert Chen! She is too young.

She is too young to play this!We can all hear it!Her teacher is probably asks too much.I mean, there is alot of thinks to work on.Her right hand is very very stiff.About left hand:should work on vibrato definitely and on articulation...maybe I'm wrong but, that's what I hear.I'm a violinist too.Basicly, DON'T PLAY ANY PIECE THAT'S TOO HARD FOR YOU.I don't want to be mean, this was a very good advice.

you may think she is a prodigy and all... but she is SEVEN YEARS OLD playing one of the HARDEST violin concerto's out there. jeez, whats with parents these days. obviously you see she has talent, but to play mendelssohn violin concerto e minor at seven, i dont think so

Very good played for that age.
This Concerto was my "door" to violin music (at the age of 3 as my mother told me later).
By the way: nice to see children who are interested in classical music and doing something reasonable away from computer and tv.
