My God.

There must be 1000's of videos of people using this insanely overused song to whatever tribute they wish to make. Only 009 Sound System makes people hate the music more, and Drowning Pool's "Let the bodies hit the floor" (often used on every single goddamn tribute).

The game had a brilliant soundtrack, and full of clever humor and satire. Could you have picked a more unsuiting song?

Also, Mad World was originally made by Tears For Fears, not that Gary Jules clown.

And here's the thing: I completely agree with you. This song is probably one of the most overused songs for trailer mash-ups and the like, right after Requiem for A Tower.

Today I would never have used this song. But I made this video in 2008. At that time I was a lot worse at editing than I am now, so used it as an easy song to try out some editing.

You have got to be fucking kidding me. Tears for Fears wrote a great song. However, the performance was absolute SHIT! Then Gary Jules did his cover. We people of the Internet (and the rest of the world I might add) consider Gary Jules' rendition to be the only version, the true version. Tears for Fears can go suck it. You are an ignorant fool. @bjeck2 Your use fo the song gave it a whole new meaning. It truly doesn't matter the opinion of over use, for some people it fails, for a few like your self it works. Got remebmering of the past, and firends that never made it back.To get such a reaction is actually quite hard, good effort. Oh Summer Overture or Lux Aeturna are the ones that get really overly used. Peace.
