Jonathan Batiste and the Stay Human Band perform at Rockwood Music Hall November 1 at 10:30pm, no cover, to celebrate the release of the new CD/DVD "MY N.Y." !

"MY N.Y." was recorded and filmed COMPLETELY on the street corners, subway trains, and underground of New York City. "MY N.Y." gives the listener/viewer a candid look into NYC, and features some really cool music by one of the most unique bands in the country. The Stay Human band (tuba, tambourine, harmonabord, saxophone, electric guitar, and vocals) is a marching band led by Jonathan Batiste and comprised of some of New York City's most creative young musicians. They are CONSTANTLY moving from place to place while performing. They share their world-class music, high energy and uplifting spirit with the people in the streets and subways of New York City, free of charge.
