Nemetschek Scia presents its state-of-the-art solution for prestressed bridge surface calculations. This is a revolutionary routine as both the complete 3D mechanics of the bridge as well as the dimensioning of the prestressed beams are being derived from one sole main model. This is a very intuitive routine and in addition to this the standard Scia Engineer principles are applied.
This method of working is very user-friendly and it requires a very short familiarization time.
The mechanics of the bridge surface are calculated by means of orthotropic parameters. After this, the beams are dimensioned based on these results. E.g. it is possible to determine the selection of the sections and of the prestress. All relevant norm checks are also included, in this way the designer can rely for 100% upon the dimensioning of his model
