The Story of Vitamin B17 (Laetrile)

This is a video adaptation of a documentary filmstrip which explains the scientific rationale for Laetrile therapy. It presents evidence that cancer, like scurvy or pellagra, is a deficiency disease. It is not caused by the presence of some mysterious virus or X- factor, but by the lack of an essential food factor which, increasingly, is deleted from the menus of modern man. The native diets of those cultures where cancer is rare is examined and found to be 200 times more rich in this substance than the diet of industrialized society. The missing food factor is called amygdalin or vitamin B17, but in its concentrated and purified form developed specifically for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile. A theoretical model for the biological action of Laetrile is presented. Included are dramatic case histories of terminal cancer patients who have recovered using Laetrile therapy. LOL @ their attempt to say "cancer isn't seen it game meat so it must be the food we eat and feed to our pets." No sh*t cancer isn't typically found in game meat, the animal will die from the damn cancer.Then an attempt to further reinforce their ridiculous assertion that cancer is a plague of modern man with stories of some remote village in Asia and a graph that shows Cancer rates going up without any clarification whether it was in terms of population or numbers or anything

Their position, besides being completely misfounded in the first place, has been thoroughly debunked.

b17, amygdalin, is toxic and has no effects against cancer at all.

It is good advice to eat natural foods, however. (Not because of GOD, you morons, but because of evolutionary biology. God by proxy, if you like, but not because of deliberate design.)

True enough, God made us with a body capable to cure itself, we can cure our selves by eating healthy organic foods, fruits and seeds. Eat fish out of the ocean never from a fish farm, watch out with the genetically modified foods. Make your own sweeteners from very sweet fruits and do not use sugar. Take Sodium Bicarbonate and drink it, use it as tooth paste and deodorant don't use anything you could buy from a pharmacy. Read and inform yourselves. Knowledge is power. Regards.
