@surinkt How did the giants come about? Was the size gene always present in Betta Splendens? Was it taken from a Splendens variant from a certain region? Or were they the product of some hybridization that occurred several years ago?

the small plakat looked female to me the bottom fin was fan shaped not pointed like the big one

haha giants are selectively bred for their size. eventually they'll reach at least 3".
