why dont you guys put your money together and buy one tiger, and one lion then put them in a case and let them fight! this is more like words fight than tiger and lion fight lol!

@jcifv1 - you talk a lot of shit, but that's after I'm gone, cause you fear me in a physical fight. Just like most lions getting pushed around by tigers and running from tigers you're just writing shitty opinions on here just to get someone worked up and ready to pound your sweet ass face in little bitch boy. You were correct when you mentioned this is an adult topic...then what is your amateur ugly ass doing here?

@dalgamouni Lions aren't the only born fighters. don't write something you don't know. If lions are born fighters then why do they get push around by tigers most of the time when in the same enclosure? Tigers are by far the best fighter between these 2 big cats. Tigers can hunt and fight, as well as lions, but the title of the superiority apex predator goez to the tiger whether anyone likes it or not.

@MrJerryrdz Most importantly the trainers had fights I saw on video because they caught it while training, and don't add it to youtube for a biased reason or entertainment. They had no favorites; simply stated what usually happened and showed it because I was surprised. Also, large prey moving all day, have "lazy" lions (yes, even males sometimes) take them down. Wild, day sleepers (Lions, rep tiles, arachnids, some sharks), others (raptors, etc..), don't lack agility and strength. Humans do.

@MrJerryrdz ... and not only that, I didn't claim to be a feline specialist, just a biologist who worked with biologists/trainers of cats much more often than some computer sit down time. All fights with these animals aren't perfectly matched pound-for-pound, or motivation for motivation. Ever see a cat chase off a much larger dog? I have... many times. Some of those dogs could have ended it in seconds. Point is it's the fight and the show the animal presents, not just science that decides.

@MrJerryrdz Sorry, I don't use computers much; just now checked my youtube replies lol... I believe what I see too; there's a lot more out there than what's on youtube; I would listen to people working with the animals together for decades than decide from a few videos. I believe you love both, but noticed you have all tigers surrounding your account. Tigers roam all day? Sometimes hunting, not fighting all day; most cats including tigers avoid big trouble, fight if they must, sleep a lot....

the total score is 1-1. It seems that the lion would prevail, if it was like a 3 on 3 or a team fight. if it was 1 on 1, the tiger would win. It seems that a liger(which ARE REAL, LOOK IT UP! THEY LOOK LIKE FEMALE LIONS!) would be the dominant big cat

The lion has a lot of competition, so has fighting experience(+1) The lion kinda rely on their strength in numbers, since they are used to fighting with team mates(-1) The lion has more intelligence, which was proven(+1) A female hunts, so has the tactics, but lacks strength. A male doesn't hunt, so lacks tactics, but has strength, so neither gender has all of the lions skills(-1) Lions have a stronger paw, pound for pound
(+1)
@abbeykroeter I believe what I see and so far I've seen the tiger's been far superior to the lion..
now when it comes to the bite force as you said I am going according to what the so call expert's say. =) now keep in mind that I am not going against you when it comes to the bite force. I ain't a tiger or lion h8er i like both acctually ...
but when a lion sleep's 16+ hours a day and a tiger roam's around the wildlife all day. who would be more stronger and more agile.? your the biologist =)

The tiger was slapped to the ground twice over. Lion wins hands down.
