The tariff was on IMPORTED goods - so the British paid it. The tariff allowed US manufacturing to grow -- England was dumping shit here to push out US manufacturing. Sam - Southern leaders said the war was about slavery over and over. In hundreds of speeches. It wasn't until later the pussies changed their excuse --when they thought they were going to win the war -- they were boasting about it being over slavery. Then when the pussies lost -- they covered up their shit and made other exucuses because that slavery shit wasn't working.

The Southern occupiers were the slave owners -- who took over illegally. They stoppped free press, stopped free speech, and even stopped real elections. These were men like Davis, Lee, Stephens. Besides enslaving millions ---they shit all over the US constitution and should have been thrown out long before Lincoln got there.
