I saw Dickie Beal in a nightclub about 20 years ago. I asked him, "You traveled in that Illinois game, didn't you?" He said,"Yeah, I did."

If you watch closely, he had a pivot foot plane as day! Just because it looked like he travelled doesn't mean he travelled! The referee saw the same pivot foot I saw. Ha Ha.

I think it wasn't until 1988 that they disallowed teams from playing at a regional they were hosting. LSU played at home in 1986, and DePaul and Arizona did the same in 1987.

What an absolute joke of officiating. But thats to be expected in CorRUPPt Arena. Amazing with all the cheating uk has gotten away with over the years. NCAA should be shut down the way they turn their heads for certain programs and 2 of them are in ky.

Beal did not travel. Look at his left foot (his pivot foot) when he picks up his dribble. It never moves. He rotates back and forth, but his left foot stays in the same place -- which is allowed. The announcer, who I believe is former UK star Larry Conley, is wrong in his assessment. What is more amazing is the fact that Beal was able to stop so quickly, especially when you consider the pressure and bumping being applied by the Illinois players.
Its called home cookin...deal with it...

@ImWhiteSon - yes the NCAA did "deal with it" by changing the rules so "home cookin" wouldn't happen again.
