  • Hey, I have to take the blame for it. I was too fast and in the wrong place on the track. totally my fault. But in 10 years riding there have only dropped it 2 times, I reckon that's not too bad as the first time I did it, it was my first time i had ever ridden the track. When I knew I wasn't going to make the corner, all I could do was scrub off as much speed as poss and try to save the bike. She only suffered minor damage. But, yes, silly mistake. I AM NOT MY FATHER!!!!!! Just me!

  • Hi all. I would just like to say that it is one thing to sit on the wall and watch and it is something else to get on a bike like that and ride it as hard as you dare in a place like the TT. If you were given the chance, you would take it, no? So I thank God, my father and my sponsors for letting me ride and letting me get away with that! Am sorry for the damage but the bike will be back together soon ready to run for the 1000 bikes at Mallory.

Time to go to Spec Savers. See you all soon. Dave

  • @a34rwl Thanks, i tried my best to stop it, but out of habit i banged down through the gear box, but being a race box it was the wrong way up, so when i dumped the clutch there was nothing there. i won't be doing that again, ha ha ha

  • @141discodave I think you did a great job. You didn't panic and you - bravely - stayed on the bike and saved it from much more serious damage.
