I remember when this happend a baseball game was going on and the light went out a two decks collapsed.....a mini serise was put on tv showing what happend and the lives lost that day.........really sad indeed

@valuemeal2 I was in Kindergarden when I saw this vid on TV, I was living in Fresno CA Thank goodness we didn't had earthquake in Fresno, that would have been Scary.

Somebody said this was fake? Wow!! That means I must have been dreaming when I was a kid and the whole house started shaking on this day and my mom must have been trippin when she just made it off the Bay Bridge right before it hit....

@mythid12 That ain't the Richmond bridge, it's the Oakland Bay Bridge that goes between Oakland and San Francisco.

@WABBITS8 It happened right before the World Series, which had both Bay Area teams playing at Candlestick Park. I hear that people in the stadium were calm the whole time.

Seriously? People are saying it's fake? I was 4 when it happened, my mom and I were grocery shopping and it was terrifying. Stuff was falling off the shelves and exploding, and I didn't want to go to that store for a long time afterwards.
