  • ...you're not really giving it your all to win.

  • So these men dress up in tight skin clothes, wear funny helmets, get laughed at, take a beating from falls on asphalt, and yet they brave all of this for the sport that they love.

Makes me wonder who has more balls: the fatasses on you tube calling them gay, or the guys out there pounding the miles? [/sarcasm]

Cycling is more dangerous than car based motorsports. Check the injuries and death stats of recent years.

Also as far as doping goes, if your not pushing the rules to the limits, you'

  • @luchogonzalez99 PORTUGESES ENVIDIOSOSS ;D

  • @tobiasbas They shave their legs in anticipation of road rash, actually. If there's no hair on their legs, then any dressings that are put on cuts or abrasions from crashes etc. will come off without the added sting of pulling against hairs. I'm sure if there was an alternative to having hairless legs, most, if not all, of the tdf riders would do it in a heartbeat. Perhaps if you knew your facts, you wouldn't come off sounding like an ignorant asshole.

  • @mestresombra If you're suggesting I've never kayaked, I have. As it happens, I have a cyclist's build and not the build for kayaking. The problem is, as another user said, that there are a lot of 'three weeks during the summer' cycling fans who -like you seem to- therefore think they know the sport inside out. Unfortunately, because of certain cyclists, the sport has a bad name. Testing in cycling is pretty routine and vigorous - check Andy Shleck's twitter if you don't believe me.

  • @onelooktothestars well, i challenge you to attempt even 1 day in a race of 140km in Kayak around an island in 6 days in which each was almost a marathon. Does it hurt and takes me to a limit? Yes it does. Does anyone takes steroids and try to cheat with doping all the time? NO!! No they don't. Do they even come up with ways of forcing the limit of what it is doping? NOOO!!! Cycling is a fake sport, because to me a guy that needs doping, is a fake sportsman.
