  • Thanks, Arlin & Sherry! The beautiful gal with her hair flying in the wind is my daughter, Kelsey. Doesn't she look just like her mom?

  • Filmed in the Lake District of Cumbria, England, where the story is set. The places mentioned in the song -- the Kirkston Pass, the "Owl's Water' (Ullswater), and the "Winding Mere" (Windemere) appear in the background. Matt Rotchford plays bass, Jessie McKeegan the pennywhistle, and Heather Alexander the fiddle. Rachel Maskew is the photographer and editor.

  • A great cover of Archie Fishers piece, I found your version easier to understand the lyrics, & you have a great BARITONE voice.!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautifully done.

  • Thank you for sharing..............simply beautiful...well done......BRAVO

  • Thanks for the video. You have a very strong voice well suited to this song. Though I get a feeling it could have been warmer. The heavy wool sweater, vest, and (goretex?) parka kind of hinted at that.

  • What a grand cover of a fine song - probably Archie's finest. Fell in love with it when I first heard Stan's cover (and Stan did not cover many) and that led me to Archie those many years back. The video is great too - adds some good context.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Great job, Hank!
