This video is just something I wanted to show the owners of the Acer Aspire one what they could do with theirs. I have modded the login screen and changed the default theme to a vista theme. I have also added more ram to this netbook.

  • Oh , i thought u said something about mods , but it seems it was just my imagination.

Dude , you may change the theme on every type of computer running at least windows xp . It's not "a mod" that has something in particular with the acer aspire one. I'M NOT DONE YET!

.. about that "Apple" sticker , sweet but as the thing above.. it's not a mod that has something in particular with the aspire.

When i 1st saw "mods" in ur title , i thought i was about to see some hackintosh , touch etc

see all

  • It seemed to take a long time to start XP (noticed you sped through it). Mine with the same specs starts Windows 7 Home Premium in less time. Back in the early days of Vista, I used to mod XP to look like Vista. It worked, but I always had problems(because these UI mods alter system files). after SP1 was released, I just went ahead and used Vista instead. I even ran Vista Business on my netbook for a few months(through a college semester). Now, I run Windows 7 on all my systems.

  • I might be getting old... and just _don't get it_ anymore.

Where are the mods? Cuz all I see is that you wanna M@Cbook but use Windoz on an AAO...

I'd go for Gnome, at least, and stamp gnome footmarks on the lid :D

  • lol not really a mod...or a hack

  • there not that slo w urs is being slow -_-

  • Lol apple sux.

  • this would fall more under software modification, i dont see any apparent mods to the device itself, adding memory might be concidered one if you gotta pull the thing apart to do it, but not realy.

  • so the only mod is the ram UPGRADE? no mods here...........
