But i would suggest that 'Special Interest' groups operate to exert influence over a government indirectly through 'Media' - Which unfortunately makes the whole thing a little bit more complicated. - Have you ever spotted a bold-faced lie on Faux news? - and then wondered how many people didn't spot it?

Or have you ever read about something REALLY significant (like an arms shipment to Israel) and noticed that no major network reported it?

I think mainstream media is major leak in our national information system. I'm relying much more on internet for news and gradually determining what sources are more reliable.

haha this all started bc the Barney Frank is an absolute dumbass and he knows tht and wall street was just too damn greedy. Now us americans have to be responible for it and the money tht is being lost is tremendous. The one thing I think all Americans should keep in mind is that the government is supposed to represent you and not lobbyist. Dont fall for the bullshit of the false dichotomy. Both parties are in the pocket of lobbyist. This doesnt mean you should become disenfranchised with the government but rather that you should hold them responsible for their actions.

There is no group that truly has our interest.

The properties of mainstreet is not ourselves as a collective but ourselves as individuals.

We are too busy making money for ourselves and maximizing our personal utility, that we can care less about the interest about ourselves as a collective. And since everybody is after their personal interest, there is no group that cares about our collective interest.

here i'll post a comment. i've seen 30 seconds of this and i understand his dilemma...human beings suck. the second you give us free will, we stab you in the back. the auto industry produce ridiculously extravagant cars because they know we'll spend beyond our limit and the banks give loans to people for houses that are way to expensive and now we wonder what happened. i say fuck the auto industry and banks..if American is so great lets see her get up and dust herself off on her own.
