@darebear8888 oh thanks didnt expect them to make it as an atmosphere effect but it works so thanks anyway

@darebear8888 Yeah I did have Mental Ray selected.. but It still didn't worked. I installed Vue to my laptop where is 64b and W7 and there it worked fine... duno what'S the prob... but thx, nice tutorial ;)

just asking, would you know why on my computer, when I paint trees and stuff I can't see the preview of them? and sometimes it doesn't even work in the render...

@Hbomb901 If you can't see the trees, then you should try switching the viewport to smooth+highlights. It worked for me. I had a render problem too, but i fixed it by reinstalling vue. I'm not sure it always works, but it did for me. :)

@nourddinexfx I'm not sure. I don't use Vue 8.5 in its standalone form. I use it integrated with 3ds max, so I'm not sure. Sorry. :(

will vue 9 work with vray or do i still have to keep mental ray?

@Djghost1123 I am pretty sure Vue 9 Xstream van use vray. Just press 8 on you keyboard and under atmoshere, click add effects. There you can add the XstreamVray effect.
