  • you dont use a paint brush on a flute it could easily tare off a pad or loosen a spring! Its a musical instrument not a freakin art canvas!!!!!

  • It's better to buy a flute cleaning kit w/everything you need in it. Hahaha, seriously, windex and a brush and Q tip from anywhere? try a toothpick w/the tip covered w/key oil, brush from flute cleaning kit, a cleaning rod and cloth, and a flute polish cloth.

  • Rubbing alcohol is much better for flute maintenance than glass cleaner.

  • Instead of telling us that she is an idiot.. (clearly she is) do tell how to do it then.. I just bought an OLD flute, and its all yellowy and stuff around the keys.. water wont take that off..

  • I'm pretty sure that windex is for GLASS! not METAL! and seriously, a brush is not worth it it doesntreally help. and the q tip works only if its saturated, and u squish it so theres no fly away cotton things on it or else it gets caught. this lady has no idea as to what shes doin! no offense.

  • oh com'n!!! Windex is NOT for everything!!! Not for your flute at least!

  • Just use a bit of rubbing alcohol. It's great for cleaning the headjoint, and if you have a little on your swab, you should be able to clean out the inside of the body and footjoint without damaging keys. Q-tips are okay, just don't jam them under the rods and stuff. Windex is a huge no-no.

  • never ever ever use windex on a flute and as well as any brush if your going to use a brush you must buy a real brush from a music store the q tips "hair' will get into the mechanism and will hurt the rase of the key this is a bad video i dont recommend listening to this person no offense to this person

  • is there anyway to get this useless worse flute expert off youtube,,.,,,,surely this is a joke !!! HAS TO BE !

  • is this ment to be a piss take ?
