@EmoceanUK First of all, lrn2spell and lrn2grammar before you pointlessly flame somebody. Your blatant ignorance is kinda not helping your case. Second of all, um.. I guess I'll just reiterate how moronic you sound. It's laughable that you'd be insulting somebody.

ok i did this on TransMac (on pc) and there is an image that's 6.3 gigs, but with 2.4 gigs free space, is there a way to "shrink it" to the amount used?

Dmgs are formats for Mac and are not easy to modify on Windows, try using Google to search for some guides, but it will not be easy if possible. You might be able to use WinRAR to edit the dmg. Try finding a dmg to iso converter, that might "shrink" the size.

Can you please do a remake of this video. I trying to burn Snow Leopard 10.6 to a 4.7 Gb DVD so that I can update to Mac OS X Lion. I cannot do it without first having Mac OS X 10.6 from what I have been reading. "IN ADDITION: I feel you made verbal communication mistake. "I understand you may have not wanted to do the step by step directions( Making you do what you already did), but that will be most helpful to 1st time 10.6 Snow Leopard burners: If we could follow your exact steps.

You don't need to burn Snow Leopard to update to Mac OS X Lion. You can burn a Lion USB or get a Lion USB stick at an Apple Store.

@macmaster4848 >.<.. It would be stupid to screw up and not be able to install to snow leopard, that's why he wants to burn snow leopard

Making a Lion USB is safer and faster than burning a compressed Snow Leopard disk.
