Bolivia, one of the poorest countries in South America, has launched a government campaign to improve the lives of its rural population.

Children from the country's impoverished mountain region, are benefiting from state-funded Christmas aid to help equip them for a better future.

  • Such stupid reasons for poverty are given here, it has hardly anything to do with the number of children.

In poorer countries the mortality rate is higher, it is unlikely that a child will make it to adulthood and make a living for himself and his family, so to counter that, the only natural way to do so, as humans have done for thousands of years, is to have more children.

Please use your brain and dont put down an entire people when you are ignorant yourself.

  • What is poverty? to me poverty is just lack of education. These indigenous people dont even speak Spanish to compete for any kind of work. Education is the solution, so these children do no end up like their parents.

  • @unico85 but all the importance that we give to this small group of "rich people" is going to cost us our world anyway...

  • There is no poor or rich... all this is a huge screen in front of all human being eyes that doesn't let us see or think beyond, created by this system that we all live in, this world provides enough food and space for grown population, men is a vicious easy to: corrupt, manipulate, and brain wash, by what many call "Natural wealths", grown population isn't the issue... the issue is how we are letting our world get contaminated every day... man, there is so much change we could do...

  • @OGdank13 corruption and mismanagement from the central government, it is obvious. The previous governments in Bolivia let the country with a 62% of poverty.... Evo Morales took it down to 49%, but it is not enough... this video is the proof

  • the big problem is inequality......

Orar? (English please.)

  • It's not as bad as Haiti as least. There is some cities that are improving infranstructer.

  • @wakkyjaki Ideally. But first comes education and economic development along with very pro-active programs to inclusion programs and campaigns, then, naturally as peoples lives begin to improve economically, they will start to have less children.

  • People should stop having babies, specially the richests and the poorests. I might be wrong, but, if I'm right, it would help to redistribute the goods and the wealth... Of course, the governement has the main role in that...
