Cave Story Mod- The Wrath of Revorshkenahl

This is my 3rd time playing through Wedge of Cheese's Cave Story/Doukutsu Monogatari mod (The 1st time I kept going right like I do in this video, except I was going slower, & the 2nd I went to the left of the starting point and got a rather abrupt, non-lethal ending), from start to finish (This is only 15% of the full mod at the moment).

As of recently, TWoR Demo 6 has about 65% of the mod's overall content. I'll try & get some new videos up to show what has been added & changed since this video. Until then, here's the link to the mod's demo releases- http://miraigamer.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1419

i'm stuck at Mortanro's Castle i can't get up there

Do you have the Rage spell at Lv. 3 yet? If you do, try holding the Jump button while looking down & tapping the fire button when you're in midair and you'll be able to boost up there.

It's kind of a little Machine Gun secret that not too many know about (I didn't at first, either), and I even asked Wedge of Cheese about making a sign or NPC that gives a hint about how to do it on the Mirai Gamer forums. I guess it's not really needed after all, though, since the answer has been given anyway.

Do you start firing downward at max height of the jump, or mid-jump? It always seems to be 1 player-height short of reaching the next platform.
