1967 Pontiac Tempest with thrush welded mufflers. his test was to see what kind of spl we could get out of the car at various areas around the car. This has Hedman headers with 6 ft of straight 2.5" SS pipe to the Thrush mufflers. Then it exits via mandrel bent Flowmaster 2.5" tailpipes.

Audio is a little crappy. I apologize, the camera isn't designed for great audio. But they sound mean!!!

  • Great tempest. I put these on my 79 trans am myself but with a stock 403 and low compression when i step on it i just get a crappy drown that doesnt really louden as i excellerate. I bet when you open it up down the road yours SCREAMS, mine just sounds like flowmaster 40s series mufflers on a stock 305 tbi chevy in a chevy k5 blazer. It kinda sucks but the idle sound with these are amazing

  • Thanks!!!!! Don't sell the Olds short!!! My compression is 8.2!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really do NOT need crazy high compression to make it sound good. Look at the exhaust and see what can be made different. Mufflers and the pipe size are matched nicely to my ride. Lets see some vids!!!

    Thanks again.!!!
