In this video I show you how I make my own shea butter moisturizer for hair and skin. I find this to be very cost effective and it works perfectly for my hair and skin.

Enjoy :-)

  • Do you still use this moisturizer?

  • Thanks for this very simple and great recipe. Do you apply to both wet and dry hair? Thanks again.

  • @webangelpb Yup, wet/dry hair..and the skin :-)

  • Do you find that it gets hard after awhile? I tried to make my own mixture once and it became rock hard after awhile

  • @petitemizz It usually starts out kinda liquid-y and then gets much more firm after it sets. It never gets rock hard though. Maybe try adding more oils and other ingredients to your mixture.

  • @LaDieeeV I wonder that too cause aloe vera gel does spoil and storing it in the frig will cause the coconut oil to solidify. I suppose it's not that big a deal, it'll all melt when in comes in contact with body heat. Definitely gonna try it though.

  • Does this spoil?

  • Could you please put up were you got your shea butter,Thanks.

  • @CookieBhoo a good heat protectant

  • It was always better to use a glass bowl vs plastic.

  • what does grape seed oil do for your natural hair?

  • wish you could send me a one of those jars ;)
