I was fortunate to meet MR Buck a couple of times. He posed for a picture with me at Busch Stadium. The next year I took the picture back and he autographed it. It s one of my most prized possessions. My grandfather and father listened to Mr Buck for many years.
I listened to him growing up on my transistor radio. R I P Jack.

Jack Buck and Mike Shannon will be standing to the left and right of God when we get to Heaven. Of course Jesus will be there as well, squeezed in between them, but he'll be busy tuning in his AM radio to KMOX trying to find the Cards game.

any one notice jack calling this game in 1962 in the 6 minute time jack has a way of giving you feel of this game as it was like only he can do still as fresh then as is it is today
