  • OMG ernspiker,

Number1: your phrasing & feel! how did you get all those chops without turning into an icy technician? How??? Number 2: YOUR TONE!! better than Billy Gibbons with all the right hand harmonics. Number 3: the vibrato. I cant even describe what you got there, it's like your whole body's in that vibrato, the way a drummer feels groove. It's NOT just random wiggling.

  • Thank you for all your kind words. My playing style just comes from years of playing different styles of music, but mostly, from listening to my heart and following the spirit.

Mechanics are just that...music is sound and emotion...listen to that...play to that.

  • I really miss working with Dave; a true professional and a great friend. It was one of the highlights of my life producing this video. Dave was one of the inspirations for creating this show (Louisville Live); I felt his talent shouldn't be limited to small clubs and the occasional concert gig. I really wanted to capture him in his element. An amazing human being who has blessed everyone he ever met. Peace be with you, Dave, you've earned it!

  • As a former student from way back, I can tell you that every note/chord he played had so much meaning behind it. It came from his soul. I'm not much on sharing the music with the world, but I feel compelled to share what Dave gave to me by writing something for him and posting it at some point. I miss you Dave and hope we can one day finish our lessons.

  • Just as I found out about this band, sadly I also found out Dave is gone.....what a tragic loss. My heart goes out to those in Louisville.........

  • The city of Louisville and the musical community will never be the same without you. You will be greatly missed!

    Hope you're rocking in Heaven!

  • Dave brought the ROCK and he meant it ... A player of pure conviction and incredible soul.

A true inspiration on so many levels. You will be sorely missed, Brother, but never, ever forgotten.

  • Sad to see you go. The Louisville music scene has been greatly diminished.

Dave was a true bad ass on guitar and one cool dude!

  • Gone but Never Forgotten!

    RIP MY BROTHER!!!

  • RIP Dave. you will always be missed and remembered by many

  • This song Kicks Ass! Full Throttle Rock!! No one does it like Jaymze but Ronnie sure gets it done these days...

  • Way to go Dave!
