same here - I was 18 in '58 -- was a big Brubeck fan in those days (and still am). I played jazz piano professionally from '55 until '64 and listened primarily to Dave... so sounded kind of like him...! Actually met him at Zardi's on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood in '57 -- yes... those were some days... great memories.

I remember this back in '58 when I was stationed in Korea, I paid $2.50 for the album. Those were some days. I was only 18 years old
