mike douglas said "since the last time you were here.." wait, so blondie was on THAT show (national, rather popular in its day) PRIOR to parallel lines????? that to me is PHENOMENAL, being the huge fan i always was, but only heard of blondie from "heart of glass" (i was a dirty faced kid). also, mike douglas - i remember the show. a very genuine, good guy. not fake like todays day time idiots. ok, ill shut up now.

@dsfddsgh hahaha!!!!!!!! "pop whores".....you do know that a lot of people may not have taken blondie seriously, because they perceived her to be of similar ilk as today's 'pop whores'....i know, i know, she wasnt that, but im talkinb about how she was 'perceived' by someone who probably never listened to a blondie album in 1979-1981, and knew nothing of them.

Great band and song but I think it's better that they (bands) play live, the guys really look bored in the first song; just going through the motions. They seem to pick up and have more fun in 2nd song. And Debbie looks lovely in her yellow dress with side split; great figure !!! Regards.
Debby looks slightly annoyed having to lip sycn this doesn't she? Imagine that a singer who wants to sing live. Now sadly it's the other way around. Now these pop whores can't get by without a autotune machine and 30 backup dancers onstage.

How can someone be so classy and sophisticated and yet remain so punk at the same time? That's the eternal magic of Debbie Harry!
