This is a montage of the final parts of each SoloWorkshop lesson. Each lesson teaches you a section of the solo, and by the end of part 3 you'll be able to play the whole thing.

Each lesson takes you through a section note for note. I break it down so even if you're a beginner you'll be able to understand what's going on.

Each section contains great licks and I go into details about how to learn them and how to apply them to your own solos.

Check them out now at http://www.joecrabtree.com/masterclass

  • what song is this solo on ?

  • @jwalts37 It says at the end... Nothing Left Unsaid, by Lyle Workman, from the album Harmonic Crusader

  • You realize, you probably know this solo better than gary now : )

  • @naedsukram He probably doesn't know it at all. On the other hand he can just make stuff like this up at the drop of a hat. What a guy!

  • Sounds great!

  • love that style

  • @pfefftube yeh, but so could you, and he'd be working just as hard to dissect your solo. You have must have plenty of patience to do this, my hat goes off to you.

  • You're very good indeed. It's inspiring to see you do your stuff.

  • this is awesome, gary novak is also amazing!

  • @andrben Thanks. I've been playing for 20 years now. Part of the reason I made these videos is to give you an idea of how long it actually takes me to learn them. When you see the final result it's easy to think that I can just do it. Believe me - it takes work ;) Each SoloWorkshop part is at least 1 hour so there's at least 3 hours of work gone into learning this. Probably double that. But along the way you pick up lots of new licks and things.
