i wouldnt have my tarp like that if it rains the water will run right in to your sleeping area

@seanmulhall Excellent news Shawn, I'd be pretty chuffed if I were to meet Dave C himself! To anybody, he may just be an ex-military survival artist, but to others he's a legend.

This is a great set-up with a lot of room, easy to set-up to boot.
What size is your tarp?

if it rains the water will run down your cord right onto you.you should have it set on a pole with your cord going down hill so the water runs away from your tarp not into it.Been there,got the tee shirt.Were all still learning & we have much to learn from eachother.Ive done this for almost 30yrs and im still learning new stuff all the time.

@Cumbriansurvivalist
Thanks for the tip. I do need to re make many of my early videos. Many are out of date. These were some of the first I ever uploaded.

wouldn't the anticipated fire possibly melt or damage the bungie chords?
enjoythewildUSA 1 year ago
@enjoythewildUSA not if you keep the fire small. The heat from a fire is in the bed of coals so you dont need high flames for warmth.

@seanmulhall Thanks for the response, Sean. If you recall, I tried to hook you up w/ a Los Angeles T.V. producer once. Now I see Dave C with his own show.Sean, of all people, you are destined for outdoor greatness.... don't give up that dream bro...
