  • Ahhh was hoping Rebecca was gonna do the interview. I guess I'll watch cause it's Paul Gilbert.

  • @pipsqueek14 Oh totally understand that. I stay away from tremelo's though because of that very reason. I agree with Paul that fixed bridges sound better.

  • the vocal send must sound weird without any gain when paul is soloing..

  • I wish he was my friend.

  • @DillonBerkley nah i have a edge bridge (like a floyd rose) and i spent hours to setting it up. if i put on thicker strings, i need to set the bridge up again. plus i like the tone of thin strings cause they are a little more ''clear''

  • Used .009, tried .008, ended on 0.12 - great feeling and sound!

  • @pipsqueek14 Try to slowly move up your gauge size. You will love yourself for the tone that bigger strings give you. It was hard for me to bend when I switched to 10-52 but now I can bend it just as high as anyone else using super slinkys.

  • Schnarly.

  • @thomasmcguire1961 He is really nice. Met him once at a guitar clinic - I got lucky and the Ibanez rep knew me from the store where I was teaching guitar at the time, and got me in early for a one on one. Chatted with him for maybe 10 minutes - incredibly cool guy.
